Parent Supporters Group

The St Mary’s Northcote Parent Supporters Group (PSG) is a volunteer group which helps support the school board, teachers, staff, and parents with a goal to raise funds for additional school equipment and resources. Joining us is a great opportunity to get to know more about the school, to meet new people, and form friendships. You can be involved as little or as much as you like, and we welcome any parents to join us.
 
Our fundraising goals for 2026 are:
  • $10,000: towards the school’s discretionary spending budget. In previous years, funds have been used for items like learning and library resources, new/additional sports equipment, classroom furniture, and support staff.
  • $5,000: towards the Year 6 camp.
  • $2,000: towards the Kindness Fund – a pastoral fund that is used at the discretion of the Senior Leadership Team, to benefit any enrolled child’s well-being.
As well as these goals, we fundraise for additional projects in partnership with the school. Our goals are reviewed and voted on annually and adjusted accordingly.

Setting up your myKindo account

You only need to set up your account once.
If you already use ezlunch, you can use the same account and the Kindo fundraising events will show automatically on your Kindo account.

  • Visit www.mykindo.co.nz

  • Click ‘Create an account’

  • Add a child under ‘My Details’ then scroll down to ‘Members’, click ‘Add member’ and search for St Mary’s School Northcote and add your children’s classroom

  • Important: Please use the same email address you used when enrolling your child at St Mary’s (this may be the email this message was sent to). If you are unsure, please message the school office.

Topping up your account

You can top up your Kindo account at any time, or at checkout when making a purchase.

Top-up options:

  • Online Eftpos – Fee free. In your myKindo account, select your bank and enter your mobile number, then approve a payment notification within your bank app
  • Bank transfer – Fee free (allow up to 2 working days for funds to clear)
    Orders will not be placed until funds have cleared

  • POLi – Fee free (instant transfer via internet banking)

  • Credit/Debit card – 2.5% surcharge + 50c fee (instant transfer)

Using Kindo for Fundraisers

  • Go to https://shop.kindo.co.nz/app/shop 

  • Select the item you wish to purchase

  • Click on your child’s initial next to the item

  • Save and keep shopping, or proceed to checkout

  • Click Place Order and you’re done!

Your order is automatically sent to the school, and you’ll receive an email receipt confirming your payment or top-up.

You can also download the myKindo app from the App Store or Google Play for even easier access. First time users need to create a new account online BEFORE using the app.
